Miami-Lewis Bennett pleaded today guilty in a Court of the manslaughter of her spouse, the Colombian Isabella Hellmann Florida, during a trip through the Caribbean on its catamaran and after room erla given by disappeared in 2017 after a supposed shipwreck. According to court documents, Bennet, who also faced the charge of second-degree murder, pleaded guilty to manslaughter before Judge Federico Moreno. The Court scheduled for January 10, 2019 the ruling of Bennett, who is British-Australian.
The accused had denounced to authorities that his spouse, of 41 years, he had disappeared May 14, 2017, when both were shipwrecked about 48 kilometers from the Bahamas.
