translated from Spanish: Create new workspace has shared for women in Chile

School of business founders created a new space for female shared work in the capital of Chile to “generate a business mentality”, in an initiative that their stimulators have described as “unique in Latin America”.
The cocreadora of founders, Macarena Salosny, told Efe that this space will be operational on January 7 and will feature 48 squares, in what expected a “place of transition for enterprising initials”.
“The objective is to generate links, identified by women entrepreneurs who take this momentous decision, with great impact on his family and environment. The idea is to grow and then have their own businesses, their own places and recruit people,”added Salosny.
This project was born following the creation of founders, a business school devoted exclusively to the female audience, which last March opened its first academic year with the formation of 200 students.
“We saw that there was a great need. Many of the women who took our programs are at an initial stage of entrepreneurship; they work from home and make meetings in cafes. And they realize that they need a work space,”explained Salosny.
“People tend to think that a ‘cowork’ for women is a space where you will have a nursery for their children and, in reality, it is a space to engage, create networks and encourage inspiration and power of impact in each of their respective businesses” He added.
This women’s work space will be “everything you need to enable women entrepreneurs develop their tasks, as a place where show their creations, event space, rooms meeting and shared offices. In addition, organized recreational activities, workshops and conferences with other entrepreneurs”, said the cocreadora.
In the areas of entrepreneurship, this space of “cowork” – established in the business center of Santiago – will feature entrepreneurs in the field of technology, design, innovation and also service providers.
Salosny said that such spaces are booming “not only by physical space but for the ability to generate community and feel part of an entrepreneurial ecosystem that enhances the skills and networks”.
On the situation in Latin America, Salosny said that “they have been increasing female entrepreneurship indicators” already that women are getting involved in new areas related to “information, logistics and innovation technologies”.
