President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said he is satisfied and “very happy” that the Senate rejected for the second time the triads that he sent to fill the four vacancies of the Commission energy regulation (CRE).
This decision, he said, demonstrates that there is democracy, which is experiencing a new phase in the country where there are discrepancies and plurality.
“Do you think that rejecting the triads to President Díaz Ordaz? Who, Fox, Calderón, penalty? “No, what happened yesterday is really a pride ring, it is something unprecedented and what good that Act so the senators, with independence, autonomy, have all our respect and we are going to comply with the legal procedure”.

The Commissioner should be appointed by the vote of two-thirds of the senators present at the session.
