Friday the Superintendence of Health reported through a circular that reversed the rule which postpones the term in two years so the isapres lowering and l cost of health plans to those members that are no longer in the most risky groups by age. In this context, the Minister of health, Emilio Santelices, said that he recommended to the Superintendent of health, Ignacio García-Huidobro, to perform the relevant “corrections” to the circular. “A few days back I took knowledge of the circular that had issued the Superintendency and instructed the Superintendent to revise it and he could make the relevant corrections in order to solve the problems of the people, and that’s what today announced” said the Minister, according to news now. Santelices also noted that “the new circular comes to dealing with a better catch on, children first and second women in fertile age, in order to fit the table of factors in a shorter time”. After this “correction”, the reduction in plans for children under 2 years should be applied automatically from October of 2019, in the case of women over the age of 40 years, and the rest of the cases, it will be from April 2020.
