The Santiago Chamber of Commerce (CCS) reported that on Monday, during the first 12 hours of the CyberDay 2019, more than 13 million of visits were received on the associated sites, which resulted in 270,000 transactions, amounting to $40 million.
According to CCS, this results in an increase of 35% compared to previous year’s sales, and 30% over the amounts involved.
The event that started on Monday will be extended until Wednesday morning and has 3,712 participating brands. However, this 2019 has been observed a lot of other online stores that have been added unofficially to the offers.
According to CCS estimates, the companies participating in the official campaign have made available to consumers more than 400,000 products and services with special prices.
According to www.cyberday.cl site figures, about 70% of the visits come from mobile devices, consolidating as the main via through which consumers learn about the offers available. In the same line, about 40% of purchases have been made from mobile phones.
On the other hand, the largest number of visits are concentrated in the metropolitan region, followed by the regions of Biobío, Valparaiso, Maule and Araucanía.
Finally, CCS reported that the most moving segments correspond to durable goods, clothing and footwear, travel and tourism
