President Andrés Manuel López Obrador proposed angel Carrizales for the third time as an independent director of the Board of Directors of Petróleos Mexicanos, although he was already rejected by the Senate twice.
According to reports from the newspaper Reforma, Carrizales López was part of López Obrador’s Logistics and Helping team, and has already twice aspired to the Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE), although in both cases it was rejected by the senators.

The newspaper noted that on the catwalk he made before senators when he was nominated as commissioner of the CRE last February, Carrizales failed to answer what the National Center for Energy Control (Cenace) is.
