For this reason, Plaza Urbina noted that by an appeal promoted by National Action that led to the resolution issued by TEPJF it will not be until 2022, after the 2021 electoral process in the state, that the formation of said citizen political institute.
“It is disappointing that a court set up to defend citizens’ rights, abandons its nature and becomes an advocate of party privileges,” the former local deputy reiterated.
He insisted, “the PAN and its leaders shy away from competition at the ballot box and prefer to litigate against a group of citizens who still had to go through a harsh process of forming that included a series of assemblies in two-thirds of the territory of the state. It proves that they, despite the enormous economic prerogatives they have, could hardly escape.”
But Plaza Urbina emphasized, that in the face of all these actions, the work they have been developing in Morelia and throughout the State does not stop, on the contrary, with these limitations and impositions of those who have the power today, the work of the independent citizens to continue the work and continue to contribute for a better, more participatory and better visible society, such as those achieved in the past administration of government in the state capital.
