Mexico.- Emilio Lozoya Austin, former director of Petróleos Mexicanos (PEMEX), waived the final suspension that protected him from the second arrest warrant turned against him, so the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic (FGR) no longer has any impediment to capture him and take him before a judge to appear at an indicted hearing.
In the past days Emilio Lozoya Austin sent a letter to Judge Tenth District in Amparo Penal of Mexico City, Erik Zabalgoitia Novales, to inform him of the withdrawal, and on Monday his legal agent Javier Esquinca, from the office of Javier Coello Trejo , appeared in court to ratify it, according to sources of the Judiciary of the Federation cited by the newspaper Reforma.

Lozoya’s mother was arrested last Wednesday in Germany and has a temporary suspension against apprehension, from which so far it has not been given up.
