The case for which the officers are investigated is that of a 17-year-old girl, who filed a complaint against four elements of the capital police, whom she accused of raping her inside a patrol.
On the night of August 14, media presented videos allegedly observing what happened the night she reported being raped, and alleged contradictions regarding her sayings.

A day later, the PGJCDMX ruled out the policemen raping the young woman. The spokesman for the Attorney General’ Office, Ulysses Lara, assured that the victim’s narrative does not correspond to what happened.
There are currently no police officers from the Ministry of Citizen Security (SCC) arrested for these events, because, according to the capital authorities, there are no elements for charging them.

Following these statements, women in Mexico City called a protest on Friday, August 16, in which they demanded that the capital authorities investigate the policemen accused of rape and the PGJCDMX workers to clarify the leaks information about the victim, who, according to the owner of the Human Rights Commission of the Federal District, had to leave his home because of harassment by means and authorities after the case was made public.
