The mexican government on Tuesday announced the agenda of the festivities to be held on the occasion of the 209th anniversary of Independence on September 15th. 
At this Tuesday’s morning conference, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador y Zoé Robledo, holder of the IMSS and member of the Commission for the commemoration of facts, process and historical figures of Mexico, called this year’s celebration “a unprecedented artistic manifestation.”

The celebration will begin on September 15 at 4 pm in the Zocalo capitalino with the activity called “Vivas Cultures of Mexico” where the 32 states of the country will present their cultural diversity. In this activity there will be two scenarios for the guest artists of each entity. 
At 11 o’e.m. President López Obrador will give the cry of Independence. At the end of this will start the show of pyrotechnic games, which will be enlivened by the music of the Band of the Center for Music Training and Development of the Mixe Culture (CECAM) of Santa María Tlahuitoltepec, Oaxaca.
Later, around 11:20 p.m., the concert will begin on the zocalo’s iron with the participation of the Mariachi de la Sedena y Semar, Eugenia León and La Original Banda El Limón. 
While the concert is taking place in the Zocalo, in the Central Courtyard of the National Palace there will be a reception headed by the president attended by members of his cabinet and diplomatic corps. Mexican coffers and fresh water will be offered in this will be offered.

For those who prefer to watch the festivities on television there will be a special programming, first in public media and then on national network.

At 10:40 p.m. they will broadcast the last issues of “Living Cultures of Mexico”; at 10:50 the military escort marches to the Hall of Receptions, and at 11 p.m. the cry from the central balcony and pyrotechnic games.  
The broadcast will culminate with the final concert on the Zocalo’s iron.
On September 16, a “military civic” parade will take place with the participation of the Army and Navy, the National Guard and the 32 states of the country. 
The Presidency added that in this parade, the Mexican National Guard will march in conjunction with the National Guards of Argentina, Chile, Spain, Italy, Poland and Portugal.
