translated from Spanish: CDMX to strengthen security in marches after vandalism to businesses

In the face of the destruction caused by a group of hooded men during the march by the disappearance of the 43 students of Ayotzinapa, the head of government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum, reported that protocols with a greater police presence will be established for the next marches and protests.
It reported that it contacted a number of businessmen and colleagues from the Government Secretariat to prepare all protocols and protect protesters and citizens for the October 2 march, which would be held in memory of the 1968.

The head of government clarified that there will be no repression. “Our position is always going to be in principle as we have always done, dialogue, dialogue, dialogue.”
“In this case we completely reprove this action, always using public force at a certain time is an issue where the decision is whether it will generate more violence, greater problem or it is contained,” he said.
Regarding the affected businesses, Sheinbaum said he contacted several of the entrepreneurs, personally, and most of them, claimed to have insurance.

Sheinbaum agreed with President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, calling the groups that vandalized yesterday’s march as “conservatives”, a term that he believes is due to regression and people who do not want change.
He emphasized that the Attorney General’s Office will do its investigative work, while the government of Mexico City will be responsible for the security of the citizens and attend to the businesses concerned.
Yesterday, on Paseo de la Reforma Avenue, protesters broke business glass and public buildings. They also threw cohetones and smashed glass from the Ministry of Welfare, as well as from a restaurant in the Columbus roundabout, where they also painted and sprayed gasoline that was lit.
Arriving at the Capital Zocalo, the hooded painted at the National Palace and struck the Marian Alate.
