Morelia, Michoacán.- Dance, music, reading and storytelling, were the activities that enjoyed this Sunday, September 29, the Morelian families in the “Morelos Cultural Day”, organized by the Ministry of Culture of Morelia in the framework of 254 anniversary of the birth of José María Morelos y Pavón.
From an early hour and despite the rain, children, young people and adults gathered to enjoy “The Scream of Independence”, a presentation of puppets made by the storyteller Andrea Finck, and that managed to steal the laughter of those present.

Later the historian Ramón Sánchez Reyna took the stage for the playful talk “Morelos child”, in which he explained the walk of the hero of Independence, his life, adolescence, growth and how he was forged to become a key character in life in Addition to myths and beliefs about his family, and places where he lived, as well as his offspring.
SeCultura’s extensive programming, a unit led by Cardiela Amézcua Luna, in collaboration with civil society, artists and educational institutions continued with Poeta in his ink, a poetry reading collective.
