The Michoacana University of San Nicolás Hidalgo, recognizes the professional and expeditious work carried out by the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Michoacán, as well as the actions carried out by the Nicolaite Community and the Michoacana Society, in the dissemination of the Alert Alba for the location and location of C. Gladys Yvette Díaz Martínez, PhD student at the Research Institute in Metallurgy and Materials.
Respecting at all times the protocols of investigation and action of the Attorney General’s Office, the Michoacana University intervened with information to the competent authority and from which it is apparent that the Nicolaite student, Gladys Ivette Díaz Martínez, withdrew from the facilities of Ciudad Universitaria without setbacks and by itself.
In this sense, the facilities of Ciudad Universitaria have an articulated video surveillance system with adequate protocols and specialized personnel that guarantee the security conditions of the university community and the people who visit the campus.
The UMSNH expresses its solidarity with the Nicolaite student and her family. It reiterates its commitment, concern and demand to ensure the safety of its entire community. This administration will work together with the university community to improve security protocols and systems at our institution.
