This, according to the state representative, in response to requests from families who have expressed concern about the disappearance of their loved ones.
According to the state government, the investigation will involve the National Commission for the Search for Persons, the Human Rights Commission (CNDH), the Army, the Nuevo León Prosecutor’s Office and state forces.
 “Let’s put the technology in it, let’s do the full search, let’s see what’s inside the penalty… to look for corner in corner, place by place, there is today the technology to do it”, said Rodríguez Calderón.

The governor stated that when the investigation is concluded, which will be supported by Civil Protection dogs, the facilities for visits and tours to the public will be opened.

On July 12, Jaime Rodríguez announced that instead of the prison, in the facilities would build a park and that the General Archive of the State would be moved, “for the children to play, the families walk, and enjoy that place, which has caused us many problems.”
