From football to politics. The national team side Fernanda Pinilla unveiled this morning that he signed as a member of the Social Convergence party, a collective that is part of the Broad Front.
Through a video broadcast on social media, Pinilla explains his reasons for entering the front-amp party and chaired by Gael Yeomans.
“I’m tired of Chile being the only country in the world that has the water privatized,” says Santa Teresa Badajoz, adding other reasons such as the fact that “in Chile women earn 30% less than men” and that “in football and science women don’t know recognized.”
It should be mentioned that Convergencia Social is also composed of names such as Gabriel Boric, Jorge Sharp and Gonzalo Winter.
Pinilla looks at the camera and adds other reasons such as that “access to housing is only for a few” and that “domestic work is not recognized as work”, so it ensures that “it is time to transform ourselves and thus transform Chile”.
In addition to her sporting career, Fernanda Pinilla holds a degree in Physics from the University of Chile, declares herself a feminist and has openly recognized her homosexuality. Currently she wears the colors of Santa Teresa Badajoz, of the second division of women’s football in Spain.
