This was made known by the president of the Mexican Association of Footballers (AMF), Alvaro Ortíz, who also called on other teams and players to stand in solidarity, as well as the owners who have outstanding payments.

“Some players even up to six months owe them, from last tournament. The new ones haven’t gained a single weight since they started. There are props who are sleeping under the stadium on mattresses, the children of several classmates are running them out of school and a decision was reached, which is not going to be played next Friday,” Ortiz said in an interview with Fox Sports.
