translated from Spanish: Storm Raymond and Cold Front 13 will affect the country’s bridge

During this weekend’s holiday bridge, three weather events will affect the country: Tropical Storm Raymond, Cold Front number 13, and low pressure likely to form cyclonics.
This was reported by the Director General of the National Water Commission (Conagua), Blanca Elena Jiménez, who said that heavy rains, strong winds and high swell will be the main consequences of these events that can cause flooding and overflow of dams and rivers.
He noted that Tropical Storm Raymond, whose predicted trajectory brings it closer to Southern Baja California Sur and northwest of Sinaloa, is located in the Pacific Ocean and its first effects will be felt from this Saturday with heavy rains.

While the 13th cold front, which now crosses the Gulf of Mexico and enters the Yucatan Peninsula, will also manifest itself in rains in the southeastern states and in a North event in the Gulf of Mexico, Isthmus and Gulf of Tehuantepec.
As for low pressure, Jiménez Cisneros noted that it is located over the Pacific Ocean, south of Oaxaca, and that it has a 20 percent chance of cyclonic formation in two days and 30, in five.
Veracruz, Oaxaca, Chiapas, Tabasco, Campeche, Baja California Sur, Sinaloa, Durango and Baja California, are the states that will suffer the direct effects of the weekend’s weather systems.

La Conagua also forecast the entry, between Tuesday and Wednesday next, of a new cold front in the states of Baja California and Sonora, which will cause rains and strong winds.
“I ask the inhabitants of these states to be attentive to the official notices of the Conagua and the recommendations issued by Civil Protection,” said Blanca Jiménez.
