The highest authorities of the Supreme Court, the Constitutional Court (TC) and the Qualifying Court of Elections (Tricel) gave a joint voice in which they assessed the agreement reached in the early morning of this Friday the parties of officialism and opposition for the creation of a new Constitution.
“We emphasize the significance of this agreement for the common purpose of all Chileans to build roads for the solution to the crisis that the country is currently experiencing,” says the statement read by The Supreme President, Haroldo Brito.
“We value the importance of dialogue as an instrument of understanding among all actors of national life to seek ways of solution, always seeking the greatest unity, solidarity and respect in achieving the great objectives on which peace will be based permanent social media,” he added.
Brito also noted that “we are vowing that at the various stages of implementation of this peace agreement and the new Constitution the spirit of understanding that has inspired it will be maintained, hoping that the country will move forward on that path of concordance towards a promising future for all members of the nation.”
