Gutierrez Muller noted that the “fanaticism and dogmatism” of some people led to what he described as a ‘perfect panflletario’.
“I missee certain writers who have won the Nobel Prize, and I’m sorry to say it because I love writers so much. I am very afraid that bigotry and dogmatism, which seems like the ideology of some, will lead us back to the perfect panphletary,” he wrote on his Facebook account.
“I have a lot of admiration for the writers and I would like them to play an absolutely important role in Latin America. And I’m very afraid that some of them are pushing back the literature and thought of the continent, which was beginning to come out of that perfect pamphlet,” the president’s wife stressed.

Yesterday, Vargas Llosa considered that Mexico is regressing in the government of President López Obrador.
“I fear very much that populism, which really seems like the ideology of the president of Mexico, will lead us again to the dictatorship, perfect or imperfect, dictatorship at the end and after,” he argued during his visit to Mexico.
