Guasave.- With the short film “Until It Happens Us” in which the theme of femicide is skillfully addressed, students from the Universidad Autónoma de Occidente, Unidad Regional Guasave, obtained honorable mention for their participation in the XIV National Transparency Contest in Short 2019 in its state stage. Jesús David López Arce and Osvaldo Rafael Montoya Urías, students from the seventh and tenth quarters of the educational program of Communication Sciences, received from the undersecretary of Transparency and Social Comptroller, the Secretariat of Transparency and Accountability of the State of Sinaloa, Dalia Yanet Reyes Sánchez, the recognition obtained for the work they presented for this edition of the contest, which is a call to the conscience of citizens and public officials.
Through a screw turn that is very relevant to history, the audiovisual work induces reflection and at the same time exhorts the audience to cooperate with their share in combating social problems; the film production of one minute 13 seconds was also carried out with the support of group mates of the contestants and teachers of the UAdeO Regional Unit Guasave.
Honorable Mention for Linces in National Transparency Contest in Short/ The Debate
The XIV National Transparency Competition in Short 2019 is organized by the Secretariat of Transparency and Accountability in coordination with the Secretariat of the Public Service of the Federal Government and the Standing Commission of Comptrollers States-Federation and aims to provide a space that promotes the participation of young people on the culture of legality, transparency and accountability, as mechanisms of combating corruption.
Honorable Mention for Linces in National Transparency Contest in Short/ The Debate
The short films of this edition of the competition were evaluated by representatives of the Sinaloense Institute of Culture, Suma Sociedad Unida I.A.P, State Commission on Access to Public Information and personalities of the film field.
The award ceremony was held at the Sinaloa Museum of Art (MASIN) and was represented by the Secretary of Transparency and Accountability, María Guadalupe Yan Rubio, the President of the State Commission for Access to Public Information (CEAIP), José Alfredo Beltrán Estrada, among other personalities, were also with Jesús David López Arce and Osvaldo Rafael Montoya Urías his groupmates and Professor Santiago Román Lizárraga.
