The Federal Consumer Attorney’s Office (Profeco) warned of faults in nine Mercedes Benz-branded vehicle models.
These are the AMG c43 4matic, AMG c63, AMG c63s, c180, c200, c250, e400 4matic model year 2019 vehicles, as well as the s400 and s500 2017 cars. 
On the models sold this year, Profeco said there is a possibility that 279 of those units “do not have completely locked the backrests of the right side seat of the front seats.”

“If there were uninsured items on the rear seats of the vehicle, they would probably not be held in the event of an accident if the seat backrest is not properly locked, thus increasing the risk of injury for passengers occupying the front seats,” the Attorney General’s office explained in a statement. 
Those who purchased these models must check that the folding backrest of the left and right seat are properly located and must not renew them.
Regarding the 2017 models, the automotive company warned that these are five Mercedes-Benz s 400 and 500 vehicles that must renew the seat belt for the driver’s and passenger seats, as they may not be activated properly.

“There is a possibility that the mixing ratio of the propellant of certain belt prepressors may not correspond to the specification.
Profeco reported that these alerts were triggered on June 10, 2019 and are valid for the respective owners to renew the necessary parts.
