Under-Secretary for Human Rights Lorena Recabarren said on Tuesday that government action has been taken on allegations of violations of human rights in the context of the social outburst. In this case what the reports have done is to point out an unusual frequency, concentrated in days, regarding human rights violations and therefore progressiveand with great conviction have been taken to be able to deal with these allegations”, Added. The undersecretary also stated that “action has been taken and if you look over time you will be able to see that the allegations actually exist evidently, but they have decreased in their numbers.” The commitment is super clear and there are no two readings on that. We condemn human rights violations, it will be investigated, it will be sanctioned,” he concluded.
