Morelia, Michoacán.- With the construction of storm and sanitary infrastructure, as well as the paving of various sections, the integral street project that the Government of Morelia applies in the rehabilitation of the sides of Avenida Madero, which represents the largest work in the municipality in the last two decades, as reported in a statement.
This work, which is part of the actions managed by the administration of Raúl Morón Orozco, before the Secretariat for Agricultural, Territorial and Urban Development (SEDATU), is aimed at improving the conditions of displacement of more than 150 thousand people, as well as the urban image of Morelia’s most representative road.
Currently, the work focuses on the construction of sanitary and storm infrastructure, as well as on the first sections paved with hydraulic concrete.
In addition, banquettes, plateaus will be built, parabuses, benches, bollards, luminaires, trees, cyclovia will be placed, and the storm net, drinking water and drainage, among other features, will be interned.
Due to the work that is carried out, the side is closed in the direction of Poniente to oriente, from the intersection with San Juanito Itzícuaro avenue to Pedregal Avenue, in both the junctions with Circuito Mintzita and Avenida José María Lino Patiño are open to traffic.
