Chilean Pablo Quintanilla had a big day on Thursday in the eleventh stage of the Dakar 2020 in the motorcycle category, after staying first. Thus, the national was almost 14 minutes away from the leader of the competition, the American Ricky Brabec, with 374 kilometers to travel tomorrow Friday. According to Radio Cooperativa, Quintanilla was in the same position as in the last edition of the Dakar, when he had to try his best on the final day to cut the distance with the pointer. Brabec completed the route between Shubaytah and Haradh in Saudi Arabia, about 12 minutes from the Chilean, so tomorrow he will leave in a perfect position to manage his lead and give Honda the win after 18 years of consecutive KTM victories. The other Chilean rider in competition, José Ignacio Cornejo, finished thursday’s stage almost three minutes from Quintanilla.Eleventh stage of the Dakar 2020 (motorbikes):1.
