The Culture in Resistance Coordinator convened an interdisciplinary arts march for this Friday to call for an end to repression.
“Since the beginning of the mobilizations in October, we have witnessed alarming situations of abuse towards the protesters. Various media and social media have reported situations of illegitimate violence towards those who gather in the streets to protest after the social outburst,” says a statement.
Against this stage, artists and workers from the field of culture have organized themselves to account for the seriousness of this situation, and invite you to march this Friday, January 24, from 17:00, to demand an stop to violence.
Everyone is invited to participate with artistic actions, under the slogan “Enough repression!”
More than 16 artistic-cultural organizations have responded to the call to march this Friday with their different performances and expressions towards the Plaza de la Dignidad. Artists such as Nona Fernández, Héctor Morales, Pali García, Ismael Oddó, Alejandra Costamagna, among others, have already confirmed their participation.
