The Attorney General’s Office of Mexico City reported that the body found in the mayor’s Office Tláhuac corresponds to the 7-year-old girl Fátima Cecilia, who disappeared last February 11 when she left her school in the Xochimilco mayor’s office.
The unit showed a video showing the woman who picked up the girl at school and offered a reward of two million pesos to anyone who offers some information about her.

At a press conference, FGJ-CDMX spokesman Ulises Lara detailed that the child’s identity was confirmed by the genetic tests given to her.
The video shown by the Prosecutor’s Office shows that after picking her up at the school, around 6:30 p.m. on February 11, the woman takes Fatima to an address.
Days later this property was located and categorised by the capital authorities, finding three people inside, who were taken to testify.
According to the dependency spokesman, so far there are no detainees.
Lara noted that they are still investigating what happened in the span that the child disappeared and was found lifeless.
Regarding the school, the spokesperson noted that the school did not have a safety protocol for the delivery of the children, so they do not know the identity of the woman who took Fatima.

Meanwhile, the capital prosecutor, Ernestina Godoy, reported that the body is yet to be handed over to the family and said that later the experts will release the results of what was found in the catedied property.
During the reopening of the Specialized Sex Crimes Agency, Godoy also asked the public for help in identifying the woman who took Fatima.
For her part, the head of capital government, Claudia Sheinbaum, arrived at the Institute of Forensic Sciences, where Fatima’s body is located, and said that she will be reunited with the family and prosecutor Ernestina Godoy.
