The National Coordination of Civil Protection reported that the luminous object observed on Tuesday night from different points in Mexico was a meteorite.
However, he indicated that it is “unlikely” that he has impacted on the territory.
“Regarding the video circulating on networks about the sighting of a #Meteorito, once analyzed by different members of the #SINAPROC and specialists, it is confirmed that it is a meteorite that was probably destroyed in the air,” the Coordination published.
“It is unlikely that it has impacted the territory and so far there is no report of affectation. We remain vigilant,” he added.
