After the press conference of the president of the Nación Alberto Fernández, in which the measures to be taken to prevent the spread of coronavirus were reported, one of the most important points where the arrival of new affected is at airports. From that, the National Civil Aviation Administration (ANAC) presented a number of new measures and reported that it will be rigorous with companies that do not abstain on orders and “sanctions will be imposed on airlines that somehow fail to comply with prevention.”
“Failure to comply with the additional measure taken by ANAC with respect to the procedure for the re-descent of passengers will be monitored and non-compliance with it will also be liable to the above sanctions,” they detailed, which will not distinguish local or international airlines. It has to do with following the instructions issued by the Ministry of Health regarding the preventions established to prevent the spread of coronavirus, which included a new regulation in which passengers and the crew of each flight they must fill out a form called “Traveller Health Statement”. The same is a form similar to Customs, in which the countries they visited prior to arrival in Argentina must be recorded, without exceptions for those who moved on the aircraft.
