Morelia, Michoacán.- The Government of Morelia continues with preventive actions to prevent flooding in the next rainy season and this Saturday the Secretariat of Municipal Public Services in conjunction with staff from the Secretariat of Administration and private initiative, carried out the mechanical, manual and pruning sweep on Avenida Quinceo, Poliducto and Calzada Juárez, in total 2 thousand 500 linear meters served and the removal of 31 tons of solid waste.
About 300 people participated for the cleaning of roads, while private companies supported with beaconing on the circuit on the sides of the Juárez Causeway.

These actions follow from the instructions of the Municipal President, Raúl Morón Orozco, to strengthen preventive tasks and that the streets, especially low areas of the city, are in optimal maintenance and free of garbage conditions. Contribute to drains, storm hydrants and coladeras not obstructed by garbage accumulation and reinforce the beautification of the city.
Mechanical sweepers, dump trucks were used in this action and a satisfactory day was achieved thanks to citizen participation, the sum of municipal employees and newly acquired machinery for the maintenance of streets in their cleaning, as well as toilet jobs in parks and gardens.
