The Department of Public Health in Austin, Texas, is investigating a group of tourists who traveled on vacation to Cabo San Lucas about a week and a half ago, and who tested positive for COVID-19 on their return to the United States.
There are 28 people, who traveled in a group of 70 to Baja California Sur to pass the spring break. Other people remain under investigation, such as possible coronavirus infections.

According to the Austin Department of Public Health, four of the confirmed cases are asymptomatic.
Both confirmed and suspected cases, people between the ages of 20 and 40, are isolated.
Through a statement, the institution noted that while Mexico has no travel restrictions, Austin-Travis County has issued travel recommendations that indicate avoiding all non-essential ones, such as leisure ones.
He also recalled that while young people are at lower risk of complications in the event of COVID-19, “they are not immune to serious illness and death.”
“While COVID-19 only causes mild illness for most people, it poses a significant danger to vulnerable populations,” he said.
Therefore, for young and healthy people, the main public health concern is the risk of them transmitting the virus to others.
As of Tuesday, 175 thousand 067 cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in the United States.
The number of people dying with coronavirus exceeded that of China, with 3 thousand 415. The Asian country recorded 3 thousand 309.
More than three-quarters of the 330 million inhabitants in the United States have been called upon to confine themselves to prevent the spread of the virus.
