translated from Spanish: CDMX announces suspension of non-essential activities by COVID-19

The head of government, Claudia Sheinbaum, reported that from Tuesday 31 March until 30 April, non-essential activities in the public, private and social sectors are suspended in the capital, because of the health emergency generated by COVID-19.
“I once said everything in his time, today is time to take care of us, to support us as a family, to stay at home,” he said on Monday in a video posted on his Twitter account.
The representative noted that it is time to “take drastic, extreme, emergency measures for at least a month.”

He explained that “the spread is so fast right now that if we lose a few days they can dramatically increase serious sick people.”
This, he said, will be the difference between caring for hundreds of sick people and not being able to care for thousands.

Sheinbaum said there is no need to do panic shopping as the grocery is guaranteed.

Passenger and cargo transport service, cleaning products, hardware stores, courier service, telecommunications, and media, private emergency services, funeral and burial services, storage and cold chain of essential inputs.
Logistics, i.e. airports, ports, railways, transport, as well as activities whose suspension may have irreversible effects for their continuation
The head of government said that when the home security is over, they will announce what the staggered return of work, education and social activities will look like.
