79 people have died in Mexico due to the new COVID-19 coronavirus, or 19 more people than the previous day.
During the press conference to report the disease situation in the country, health authorities said that until the cut-off on Saturday, April 4, 1,890 confirmed cases and 5,827 suspected cases.
Of these, 78% are outpatients and 22% have required hospitalization.

Dr. Hugo López-Gatell reported that the average age of sick people is 43 years and that a common factor is that they suffer from chronic diseases.
The undersecretary stressed that the country weighs the fact that there is one of the highest prevalences of diabetes, as well as obesity and overweight.
