He detailed that this man had a history of having traveled to Madrid, Spain and was interned from last April 1; died on Friday, April 3.
He began his clinical picture with a sore throat, headache, fever, cough and shortness of breath.
The official said there could be a second fatality, however, the test result that was given to him is not ready yet, so he still cannot confirm that it was from the spread of this virus.
The Tamaulipas government also reported on the first death recorded by COVID-19, it is a 54-year-old woman living in Reynosa.
The patient arrived in Reynosa from Sinaloa and was hospitalized in the early morning of April 3 at the General Hospital of Reynosa with respiratory failure and metabolic decompensation, died at 8 a.m. the same day and it was confirmed that the death was by COVID-19.
