The B line of the Buenos Aires underground is affected on Tuesday by a union measure after a worker was interned with suspicion of coronavirus, a situation that forced the metrovías company to start service with hierarchical personnel. The employee is from the “Traffic Sector” and is interned “from Saturday night”, the Gremial Association of Sub-Metro and Premetro Workers (AGTSyP) reported in a statement, while preciating that the patient “had the swab” whose results are still expected. In the text published last night, the metrolegados indicated that they would not start the service on Tuesday 14/04 “due to the application of protocol of action in the face of a suspected case of Covid-19” however the trade union leader Nestor Segovia reported this morning through his networks that line B is operating “with hierarchical personnel”.” We have a partner with suspected internal coronavirus two days ago and hopefully the results are negative,” he said. Meanwhile, from Metrovías they noted that the service began today normally at 6 a.m. and that all measures of the protocol were complied with by Covid-19: “All facilities of possible contact were disinfected to the extreme”, they noted from the company.
