Monterrey.- A tornado that formed in the municipality of Apodaca, Nuevo León, was captured this Friday after a thunderstorm with strong winds that caused the fall of tarp, cables and trees that extended to the metropolitan area of Monterrey.
“We are on a tour with municipal Civil Protection units. Saltillo-Monterrey highway, closed in both directions by un favorable weather conditions. Avoid the area,” Nuevo León Civil Protection said.

Nuevo León Civil Protection reported strong streaks to the west of the metropolitan area, mainly in García and Santa Catarina, reaching 112 kilometers per hour (km/h).
The tornado swept through a row of trailers, and it made several smashes and so far it is known to have claimed a woman’s life.
