Morelia, Michoacán.- A total of five businesses, between gyms, restaurants, wine shops and an upholstery have been closed by the municipality of Morelia for not following the order of its closure while passing the most critical moment of the current health contingency.
According to a report by the Directorate of Inspection and Surveillance of the municipality of Morelia, the wine cellar “Andagio”, located in Eduardo Ruiz street of the Historic Center was one of the newly closed businesses, since in addition to finding it open, the inspectors realized that the consumption of alcoholic beverages was allowed inside or outside the business.
The most recent closure occurred in the upholstery “Briceño”, located on Madero Avenue, at the height of the colony of the Ejidos, where they found that it remained open even though this turn is not considered essential.
All these closures were temporary and could reopen once the health contingency passes and cover the payment of the imposed fine that can range from 2 thousand to 5 thousand pesos, depending on the severity of the foul.
