The Official Journal of the Federation published on Friday an amendment to the text on Thursday indicating that from 18 to 31 May was the preparation period to comply with safety and hygiene protocols, and that the reopening would begin until 1 June.

“If the process is completed and approved by June 1, 2020, the relevant company or industry may start operations,” he explains.
Companies in the automotive and auto parts export industry shall apply the protocols required in the countries of their origin.
The document states that this is not a goodwill agreement, so if it is not complied with “the companies or industries that put the health of their workers at risk will be closed”.
A first version was released on Wednesday indicating that the start-up date for the new essential activities was May 18.
According to the DOF, there was an error when publishing the day’s edition, as it contained “wrong images”.
The agreement published on Friday will be in force until the completed health emergency that originated it is completed.
