Morena’s leadership filed a complaint with the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) against the party’s secretary general, Yeidckol Polevnsky, for having authorized the payment of 395 million pesos to two companies for infrastructure works that were not carried out.
Sources of the institution confirmed to Animal Político that this is a denunciation of facts for the crimes determined by the Public Prosecutor’s Office in the investigation.
However, members of the National Executive Committee (CEN) were noted that Polevnsky is sought to be charged with the crimes of property damage and money laundering.
The complaint was filed on June 15 by the party’s leader and legal representative, Alfonso Ramírez Cuéllar, at the FGR headquarters.
The inquest is expected to be the Federal Crime Investigation Sub-Prosecution.
Animal Político disclosed that, by order of Polevnsky, the Morena Finance Ministry paid 395 million pesos in New Year to two companies belonging to Grupo Ebor, by the queretano businessman Enrique Borbolla García.
Transfers took place less than a month before Polevnsky left the party’s office.
The general secretary signed on December 29 two works contracts with the companies Inmobiliaria Moscati de Querétaro S.A. de C.V. and Estrada Miranda Proyecto y Construcción S.A. de C.V. for remodeling, adaptation and maintenance works, as well as supply of furniture, computer equipment and security systems for the offices acquired by the party in the future.
Two days after the signing of the contracts, in New Year, the Treasurer of Morena, Joel Frías, made shorts references for 312 million 445 thousand pesos to the account of Inmobiliaria Moscati de Querétaro and for 82 million 555 thousand pesos to the account of Estrada Miranda Project and Construction.

The new management led by Ramírez Cuéllar accused that these payments constituted property damage to the party because the contracted works were not carried out, even though they were paid in advance and in full.
In his defence, Polevnsky has stated in various media that the works were not carried out because the new CEN has prevented the work of the contracted companies.
