Government Secretary Luis Ernesto Ayala Torres warned in the afternoon of a possible reaction by criminal groups to an operation carried out by authorities at all three levels of government.

Local media reported that at about 4pm elements of the Mexican Army, National Guard, Attorney General’s Office and Public Security Forces were trying to enter various communities where the Santa Rosa de Lima cartel allegedly has a presence.
In Salamanca, a van and a passenger truck were burned to close the freeway to Celaya.
In Juventino Rosas violent events were reported in the community of Yustis, a vehicle fire in the roundabout to Celaya, another in the community of Morales, one more in Las Maravillas, and vehicles obstructing the exit to Guanajuato.
While in Cortazar were reported made in the Colony Fortaleza, the Durazno colony, the Caracheo community and on the road to Salvatierra.
