With 523 more DEATHS from COVID-19, Mexico reached 30,366 deaths from the disease, already the fifth-highest coronavirus deaths in the world, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.
The list is headed by the United States (129 thousand 654 deaths), Brazil (63 thousand 174), united Kingdom (44 thousand 283) and Italy (34 thousand 854). France was in fifth place, but has already been overtaken by Mexico.
So far in the epidemic, 252,165 people have tested positive for COVID in Mexico, 6,914 more than what was reported yesterday Friday, July 3.

So far there are 26 thousand 075 cases of coronavirus that are considered active by the authorities by showing symptoms in the last 14 days, detailed José Luis Alomía, director Epidemiology at conference.

So far 152 thousand 309 people have recovered from the disease in Mexico.
The World Health Organization (WHO) reported a record increase in COVID-19 cases worldwide on Saturday, a 212,326 contagion hike in just 24 hours.
This is the first time that this WHO registration has exceeded 200 thousand new contagions.
The previous maximum number of contagions was on 28 June, with 189 thousand 077 new cases.
