“In the face of the health emergency by COVID-19, the demand for the services offered by the dependency increased, so it was important to reactivate these spaces, where professional staff caters to women who may be experiencing a situation of violence,” she said.

The civil servant said that, in the coming days, the Mobile Unit will also start operations, which will bring care services closer to municipalities with the highest rates of violence against women and girls.
