The National Electoral Institute (INE) announced on Sunday that the reopening of citizen care modules will begin in August, with only scheduled appointments.
The first phase of opening, scheduled for August 3, will be only to deliver credentials previously processed in 377 modules, explained René Miranda Jaimes, executive director of the Federal Register of Electors.
From August 17, Miranda Jaimes explained, another 110 modules will be opened and there will be attention for all the formalities.

He said that as security measures they will reduce the space in the waiting rooms, place signage and workers will carry bed covers.
The institute will enable its online portal to make appointments, Miranda Jaimes pointed out and explained that the schedule will be from 9:00 to 15:00 hours in care centers with a shift, and from 9:00 to 18:00 hours in those who have double shifts.
The roaming modules will remain closed until further notice, detailed the INE.
