This Monday Antonio Banderas turns 60 years old and there will be no celebration of any kind. The Malagasy announced that he will be saving for several days after testing positive for COVID-19. “I want to make public that today, August 10th, I am forced to celebrate my 60th birthday by following quarantine having tested positive for COVID-19 disease, caused by coronavirus,” the actor began on his social media. “I would like to add that I am relatively well, just a little more tired than usual and confident in recovering as soon as possible following the medical instructions that I hope will allow me to overcome the infectious process that I suffer and that so many people are affecting around the planet,” he continued.” I will take advantage of this isolation to read, write, rest and continue to make plans to begin to give meaning to my newcomers 60 years to which I arrive full of desire and enthusiasm”, concluded Banderas.
Starting today – and every Monday in August – fans of the actor, director, producer and entrepreneur will be able to see his great films such as “The Law of Desire”, “Philadelphia”, “Interview with the Vampire” or “Ruby Sparks”, among others, on TCM channel.
