More than 247,000 withholdings of 10% to food pension debtors have been notified to Pension Fund Administrators (AFP), Supreme Court spokespeoon Gloria Ana Chevesich reported.
According to The Third, the Supreme Court notified last week that more than 409,000 applications for the withholding of 10% of pension funds were brought to court to parents who owe food pensions, a figure corresponding to 209,402 cases against 214,703 defendants.
On the other hand, they noted that AFPs are already aware of the people who should be held back in the event that they make the withdrawal process of 10% of their funds.
In his participation in the Senate Constitution Commission, Chevesich noted that “247,778 withholdings were already reported to Previred today. This is the wealth of income made. Therefore, AFPs are already aware that they cannot dispose of this until the court notifies the final amount to apply the withholding and deposit it into the food account.”
It is worth noting that the parliamentary body passed the bill ensuring the payment of alimony with AFP funds. The particular discussion is expected to take place next Wednesday.
