One of the companies is Janssen Pharmaceuticals of the United States, which seeks an accelerated protocol with Cofepris, clinical trials and guaranteeing access to the vaccine.
Meanwhile, with CanSino Biologics and Walvax Biotechnology Co, from China, there is also a project of a regional production platform for the possible vaccine.
According to Ebrard, these understandings will allow at least three phase 3 clinical protocols of COVID-19 vaccines to be conducted in Mexico between September and January.
He also reported working with 15 different companies that develop vaccine projects and treatments against the disease.
Once these understandings are reached, he explained, health and health authorities will determine how to apply vaccine trials in the country.
Earlier Tuesday, Russia said it already had an approved and registered vaccine against COVID-19.
President Vladimir Putin indicated at a government meeting that the vaccine was developed by the Gamaleya Institute and was recorded after two months of human trials.
