Morelia, Michoacán.- Oscar Escobar Ledesma, president of the National Action Party (PAN) in Michoacán, assured that if there is any coalition with the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) for the 2021 elections, it will be only to contest the bernatura.
On the part of the state and national leadership, the factors for achieving this coalition will have to be thoroughly analyzed, which may vary in the future, as they are not afraid to compete alone during the next election.
In the case of mayors and members, the PAN will compete autonomously, since according to the voice of the president of this party in Michoacán, coalitions cause them to lose strength, as well as disfigure the issue of their identities.
“We are not afraid to go alone in Michoacán, if conditions are not generated, the PAN would be willing to compete alone, we prepare and strengthen our identity as an opponent at the state and national level, otherwise we will be working as the times unfold,” he concluded at a press conference.
