Morelia, Michoacán.- To help people from communities away from urban smudging cope with the winter season, the DIF Morelia System will hold its annual collection of blankets, whose goal will be to gather more than 13 thousand.
At a press conference, DIF Morelia director Alejandra Corona González commented that this year the blankets will be distributed in 100 communities in the municipality, a figure she considered a record, as last year only 67 were supported.
The collection will begin on November 13, at the facilities of DIF Morelia, located on Avenida Ventura Puente, but also at the Fire and Civil Protection stations and the authorities ask the population interested in supporting that the blankets are new or if they are second-hand that they are clean.
