Uruapan , Michoacán.- During a search implemented on Tuesday afternoon at an address in the municipality of Uruapan, the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Michoacán (FGE), through the Investigation and Prosecution Unit of the Crime of Animal Abuse, secured 60 canine copies related to possible constituent acts of animal cruelty.
This action was derived from criminal news that indicated that, in a house located in the prolongation street of Veracruz of the Colony Colorín Norte, several dogs lived in deplorable conditions, which gave rise to the integration of a Research Folder.
In the face of such events, prosecutors carried out investigations and gathered evidence that was presented to a Control Judge who presented a search warrant.
Today, in fulfillment of this mandate, staff of the institution came to the address mentioned above managing to locate and secure 60 canine specimens that remained under the protection of animal protection associations, which were transferred to other properties with the support of staff of Municipal Public Toilet and Environment of the City of Uruapan.
