With three cylinders and 12 valves, it has a maximum torque of 200 Nm between 2,000 and 3,500 rpm. In addition, it offers disc brakes on all four wheels and Euro 6 gas emission technology.

In its release, the Hero version, based on Highline, will also be available with distinctive details: bitono roof, darkened rims, black exterior mirrors and side and rear badges also with a darker shade. The Highline variant debuts the VW Play infotainment system, which was developed entirely in Latin America. It is capable of collecting vehicle information, reading virtually all multimedia formats and downloading applications, entering connectivity and storage functions.

Its interior includes two interconnected 10-inch displays that ensure connectivity, information and entertainment. For all versions, it incorporates the electric steering system and multifunction steering wheel, and sensors and rear parking camera. The Highline version adds eco-friendly leather upholstery, cams at the wheel, front parking sensors, automatic climate control, electrically retractable exterior mirrors and kessy keyless opening and starting systems.

In safety, as standard, it offers six airbags and stability control. In addition, ISOFIX anchors in rear seats and assistant control for start-up on slopes. While the Highline adds adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, post-collision emergency braking, fatigue detector and tire pressure control.
