A fire consumes an electrical substation of the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) located on Avenida Universidad, in the Xoco colony, in the mayoralty Benito Juárez, mexico City.
The fire started around 6:40 p.m. Civilian protection personnel from the local government evacuated 250 people from the surrounding premises.
The Metro reported that Coyoacán station will be closed due to the fire.

The head of government, Claudia Sheinbaum, reported no reports of injuries.
“At the moment, electrical service in the area is suspended. I’ll keep giving information in a few moments. I’m in communication with Manuel Bartlett cfE director, mayor and government team,” he said on Twitter.
Firefighters from Benito Juárez, Coyoacán and Alvaro Obregón stations are working on site.
